Privacy policy

Last updated 31 October 2026

This policy explains how OneBx Limited (“OneBx”, “we”, “us”) uses personal information when you visit getonebx.com and when you use the OneBx web app and the OneBx mobile app.

Who we are

OneBx Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 17548788. Contact us about privacy at support@getonebx.com.

Our role

OneBx is used by businesses (our customers) to run their operations. When a business uses OneBx to record information about its staff, drivers, subcontractors, customers or deliveries, that business decides what is recorded and why – it is the controller and we process the information for it as its processor. If you are a driver, member of staff or customer of a business that uses OneBx, please contact that business first about your information. We are the controller for this website and for our own customer accounts and enquiries.

This website

This website has no sign-in, no forms and no advertising or tracking cookies, and does not use analytics. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) handles each request and may keep short-term technical logs, such as IP addresses, to keep the site secure and working. If you email us, we use your email to reply.

What the OneBx apps collect

Depending on how a business sets up OneBx and what you use it for, this can include:

  • Account details: name, work email, phone number, role and sign-in records, including two-step sign-in.
  • Work records: jobs, deliveries, collections, scans, vehicle checks, defects, incidents, messages and notes.
  • Location: drivers’ phone location while a trip or job is in progress, including when the app is in the background or the phone is locked, so the office and customers can see progress and arrival times. Location sharing stops when the trip ends.
  • Camera and photos: photos taken for proof of delivery, damage, defects and receipts, and the camera for scanning barcodes and QR codes.
  • Signatures and names given at delivery or collection.
  • Time and HR records where the business uses them: clocking in and out, holidays, timesheets, documents and expenses.
  • Device information: a notification token so we can send pop-up notifications, and basic error reports so we can fix problems.

We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

Why we use it (lawful basis)

  • To provide OneBx to the businesses that use it, under our contract with them.
  • To keep OneBx secure, prevent misuse and fix faults (our legitimate interests).
  • To reply to enquiries and run our own business (legitimate interests or contract).
  • Where the law requires us to keep or share records (legal obligation).

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run OneBx, under written agreements that require them to protect the information. These include hosting and database providers, email and text message providers, maps and address look-up, pop-up notification services, error reporting, and AI services that help prepare drafts for a person to check. A business may also connect OneBx to its own accounts or email software, in which case information is shared with that software on the business’s instructions. Some providers may process information outside the UK; where they do, we use the legal safeguards UK data protection law requires.

How long we keep it

Information about a business’s operations is kept for as long as that business uses OneBx and then deleted or returned in line with our agreement with it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. Website logs are kept only for a short time.

Keeping it safe

Each company’s data is kept separate, connections are encrypted, access is limited by role, and sign-ins for sensitive work need a second step. Backups are encrypted.

Your rights

You have rights to see, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal information, to object, and to move it to another provider. If OneBx holds your information for a business you work with or for, contact that business first; we will help them respond. Otherwise, email support@getonebx.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Children

OneBx is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 16.

We will update this page if anything changes and change the date at the top.
